Forthcoming plans for 2008, unofficial.

Kinda like a New Years Resolution, we've decided to adopt some major changes to the store layout and possibly bring some new products that our loyal customers requested. But wait! Before we get into that subject, here are some updates/news for the upcoming holiday: Christmas.

Frutti will launch some Christmas theme flavors of gelato: peppermint and gingerbread. Apart from that, we are getting Green Tea flavor soon so it will later be officially announced via this blog and facebook groups/page.

The third edition of our frequent buyer cards - or yummicards won't be available. Instead, more v2 cards will be available instead for the time being.

For 2008, we are looking to further fine-tune our products and services. Product-wise we are expanding our products beyond frozen yogurts and gelatos, possibly bringing in more dessert-based treats that everyone can enjoy. I can't slip in too much information on this until it's officially finalized. But we're excited anyways for the likely desserts we are looking to launch.

Also, Frutti's Coffi(that's Coffee) will be replaced and we are looking forward to officially serve Barefoot Coffee. Although our coffee fan base was rather small, we believe Barefoot's addition to our product lineup will bring a much positive future. We wanted to actually make this happen alot earlier - but timing and circumstances didn't allow us at the time being. We apologize in advance if you were dissappointed.

Other than that, Frutti is working on some interior works here and there. Yes we admit the store needs some dressings on certain parts and we're looking into it. It's a slow process, but it is expected to pay off soon.

Our NEW Facebook Page!

With our established Facebook group, we got a decent number of people who joined our community at a quick rate we didn't expect. And now that facebook has released this thing called 'Pages,' we have quickly established building a website within a website which we just launched two days ago. Come and join us! If you don't have facebook yet, perhaps it's time to join? Don't worry, the blog stays here and it ain't going nowhere.

Frutti Yummicard V2 Preview

We're pleased to say that frequent buyer cards are catching on quite nicely. I've decided to immediately upgrade our offers and at the same time save a tree - if possible.

Yummicard V2 Specs

• Smaller cards in both width and height dimensions.
• V2 cards are only for frozen yogurts.
• V2 cards no longer carry V1's 3x3 reward system. Instead, it's 1x5.
• After your 5th purchase, the sixth is free.
• After your 3rd purchase, you are rewarded with a free yogurt topping on your fourth purchase.

So as you can see, it's only 5 entries. Still better than the stupid 10. Design is on its way, and I'm going to upload pics very soon.
